Every year tens of thousands of horses and burros are sent out of the U.S for slaughter. Fortunately, a bill moving through congress will make it harder to transport horses to Canada and Mexico for slaughter. SPCA International is proud to stand with other animal welfare groups in support of this legislation.

Lemonade, an innovative home and renters insurance company, is donating $295,785 to SPCAI as part of their Lemonade Giveback program, made possible by their customers unused premium payments.
