Women to the Rescue

Over the last 17 years, we have had the pleasure of working alongside many caring and hardworking women who use their voices to take a stand and help protect animals around the world. In honor of International Women’s Day, we want to recognize three outstanding women championing animal rights and welfare. From advocating for abused dogs in Spain to making spay and neuter services accessible in Panama to caring for thousands of strays in Lebanon, there is no challenge too big for these inspiring women to tackle. Join us in celebrating Helena Hesayne (BETA), Patricia Chan (Spay Panama), Anna Clements (SOS Galgos), and all the other powerful women working tirelessly to improve the lives of animals.

Lola’s Second Chance

From the moment we looked into Lola’s sad eyes, she had our hearts. It was clear she had suffered her entire life, and we were determined to help her never have to endure pain again. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we were able to rush aid to this sweet girl. We’re happy to report that Lola is doing much better and will soon be available for adoption. We can’t wait for Lola to find her perfect family who will give her the unconditional love she deserves

Leo & Lindsey: Together at Last

Last month, our team traveled to the Middle East for a special mission – bringing seven patriot pets to the United States! One of those lucky dogs was Leo, who Lieutenant Lindsey rescued while on deployment.

After several weeks and lots of planning and paperwork, our team was finally able to bring Leo home. And it’s safe to say that the long journey was well worth it. The moment Leo and Lindsey saw each other, it was as if no time had passed. Leo and Lindsey are now together again, enjoying life in upstate New York.

A New Leash On Life

While our mission is to help animals, we love it when we can also help people at the same time, which is why we are so excited to introduce our new Shelter Support partner, PAWsitive Recovery. Based in Denver, Colorado, PAWsitive Recovery is a non-profit organization helping people and their animals heal from the wounds of addiction, trauma, and abuse. Their incredible work allows people battling substance abuse and those escaping domestic violence to properly care for themselves and their beloved companions who mean the world to them.
