And we’re excited to share that we recently gave our first grant to Charming, the adorable, furry best friend of a U.S. Air Force Sergeant.
Last month, we received an urgent plea for help from our partner, China Rescue Dogs. They needed help bringing 21 dogs rescued from the cruel dog meat trade in China to safety in the United States. With an estimated cost of $50,000, we knew it would be a huge undertaking, but we could not ignore the pleas from our partners or abandon the animals they had bravely saved. And thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, we raised enough funds to secure the flight for these brave survivors.
