Meet Mike, the most handsome good boy you will ever meet. This sweet boy has had a tough life, but you would never know it by looking at him. Mike has so much love to give and wants so badly to find the perfect family he can snuggle with. He is playful, affectionate, and smart. He has come so far, transforming from a shy and fearful pup to a happy boy who enjoys going on walks and meeting other dogs. Mike is excellent on a leash, does well in car rides, and is a big fan of going to the beach.
We can not believe that Mike has not found his forever home yet, but we know his forever family is out there waiting to meet him. Please help us get this precious pup to the home he deserves!
In early February 2022, Freshta Siddiqui’s cat Leo and dog Lucky boarded a plane from Afghanistan to Canada. Freshta, who was being targeted by the Taliban, did not want to be separated from them but knew it was the only way to ensure they would be safe. For months, Freshta did everything she could to make her way to Canada, wondering if she would ever see her beloved pets again. Last month, Freshta and Leo reunited in an incredibly emotional reunion that we will never forget.
Liberty had quite the journey home from the Middle East to Germany to New York — all to reunite with Sergeant Eric! When he found her, Liberty was a skinny puppy scrounging for food. She was timid and scared, but the Sergeant earned her trust over time. In the middle of a war zone, the two became each other’s comfort. The Sergeant promised Liberty a good life with him and his family in the states, so we knew we had to help him keep his promise. After months apart, we brought these two best friends together again, and it was as if no time had passed.
We are excited to announce that SPCA International and BuDhaGirl have teamed up to raise funds for abused and neglected animals worldwide! BuDhaGirl is all about living an inspired life — feeling connected to the world, giving blessings to others, and leaving things better than you found them. In that spirit, BuDhaGirl is donating a portion of the proceeds from every All Weather Bangle sold to SPCA International. Thanks to their generosity and commitment to improving the lives of innocent animals, we will be able to provide medical care, comfort, and safety to so many more animals who desperately need it.
