A recent report has shed light on the horrendous living conditions of U.S trained bomb-sniffing dogs now living in Jordan. These dogs work under the hot sun all day to keep our allies safe but are living with very little food and water in filthy kennels. Steps are now being taken in Jordan to improve conditions, but many other U.S. trained dogs are at risk in other countries. Join us in urging the U.S. government to put monitoring and care standards in place.

Long-time SPCA International partner SOS Galgos is celebrating 20 years of life-saving work. Spanish Greyhounds, known as Galgos in Spain, are at incredible risk. They are used for hunting, so they don’t receive the same protections as other dogs. But SOS Galgos is turning the tide. They have educated thousands of citizens about humane animal treatment and are pressuring lawmakers to enact laws that protect these kind and beautiful dogs.
Manydogs of Chernobyl used to die from starvation and thirst each winter, but our partner organization Clean Futures Fund is changing that. They are implementing a new and exciting feeding program to ensure the dogs of Chernobyl have access to adequate food and clean water.
