Each year, SPCA International partners with under-resourced animal welfare groups in developing countries to fund spay and neuter clinics.. One of our longstanding partners in this program is Spay Panama. This is an incredible group of volunteer veterinarians, technicians and local citizens that come together to offer sterilizations and veterinary care on a large scale. This December they held an event in Panama where they treated over 700 animals.

Do you remember Daisy? Last October, we shared the story of how someone had cruelly hacked off her paw and left her to die. It was a truly horrific injury. At the time, we didn’t know if Daisy would live. Miraculously, she did. Now she is finally where she belongs with her forever family in North Carolina. Thanks to everyone who contributed to Daisy’s rescue and recovery, she is finally healthy, safe and happy.
