Tahlequah the Orca: Motherhood Possible Again

Tahlequah is expecting again and here at SPCA International we are all rooting for her. With up to an 18 month gestation period and high pregnancy failure rates, Tahlequah still has a long way to go, but the world is watching.

Slaughterhouse Rescues

Thanks to an outpouring of support to combat the dog meat trade, SPCA International was able to provide support for partners in China that are on the frontlines and rescuing dogs from slaughterhouses. Watch as over 50 slaughterhouse survivors arrive at one of our partner shelters.

Beirut Shelter Underway

SPCA International is proud to have provided a significant grant to BETA shelter in Beirut, Lebanon, for the construction of a new facility. They’ll house over 800 animals, including donkeys and horses. Check out their progress and a greeting from Kiki the donkey who is ready to move in!
