Rosie and Pups are Thriving

Thanks to many generous SPCA International supporters, Rosie and her pups are doing incredibly well! Pregnant Rosie was terribly injured shortly before giving birth and our partners were worried about her survival. Check out these photos and this video to see how this little family is thriving.

Chachi’s Story

Many dogs are thought to be beyond saving. They are considered too aggressive or too timid, they are destructive or refuse to potty train, they are too old or too big. Chachi is one of those dogs. After lots of hard work by the dedicated people at Mission K9, he is living happily with his forever family.

The Art of Building Global Partnerships

The best way for our team to learn how to approach these issues is by observing and collaborating with the local community.

In Memory of Rita, a Fierce Advocate for Animals

My heart is heavy as I write this tribute to an amazing woman who brought the Humane Society of St. Thomas to SPCA International as a dedicated partner. Rita forged a long-time partnership between two organizations that continues to make a difference in the lives of animals today.

A New Lease on Life for Courage

Courage was found terrified, covered in scars, and without a tongue. It was apparent to his rescuers that this sweet boy had been used in dogfighting. Amazingly, Courage is on the mend. He has been given dedicated care to help him get healthy and learn to survive. Here at SPCA International, we are so grateful to everyone who donated for Courage’s care.

Read on to learn about how everyone can take responsibility for wild animals, while still getting to experience them firsthand.

Military families sacrifice so much for our country, so SPCA International is proud to support them through the Operation Military Pets program. We are excited to be celebrating the 2,000th grant awarded to help move furry family members to new military duty stations and keep these dedicated families whole.
