Located in Quebec Fauna Foundation has been functioning as the only sanctuary for chimpanzees in Canada for over 20 years.
Fauna Foundation is dedicated to providing life long care to chimpanzees and monkeys, a majority of which were previously used for research purposes. The primates at Fauna Foundation are cared for by experienced and compassionate staff dedicated to helping them heal from the traumas of captivity and research. Through enrichment, high-quality diets, routine medical care and relationship building the primates at Fauna Foundation are respected and appreciated for the rest of their lives.
SPCA International is proud to support Fauna Foundation as they provide the best life possible to chimpanzees and monkeys previously held in captivity and used for research.
