Rescuing Rooster

Marc Du Lac, a USAF veteran and aircraft weapons maintenance instructor, was sent on a one-year contract in Iraq. During his time in Iraq, away from his family, friends and beloved pets, he formed an unbreakable bond with a puppy he lovingly named Rooster. Thanks to help from SPCA International, Rooster was rescued and made the long journey from Iraq to Mark’s home in Florida. In this blog post, Mark lovingly tells the story of how they met, their time in Iraq and how Rooster is doing now.
