Rocky's Resilient Spirit Is an Inspiration to Us All

Rocky was the loser in a dog fight. He was found in an abandoned house - severely injured and too lethargic to lift his head. His rescuers rushed him in for emergency care. In July 2018, we asked our supporters to help dogs like Rocky recover from their emotional and physical wounds.

Today Rocky is thriving! Isn’t he looking handsome and happy in this birthday hat? He and his new mom, Debbie, are best buds. Rocky found the loving home he only dreamed of, far away from the abuse and torture of the dogfighting underworld. Hooray for this pup whose life almost turned out very differently.

Five & Six Saved from a Warzone

These playful kittens captured Major John’s heart in Iraq and he couldn’t imagine leaving them behind. In August, they were waiting to be rescued, but funding was needed. Our donors stepped up and quickly funded 13 rescues, including theirs. Now Five and Six are safe in Washington state and continuing their mischief. They love to attack John’s home computer cords and they can’t get enough of their good looks in the mirror! When they need a rest, they enjoy snuggling up in their new cat houses. These handsome cats are safe and happy all thanks to your support.
Thank You from Captain Zeek
Do you remember Captain Zeek and Rey, the dog he fell in love with on tour in Iraq? In June 2018, we asked for donations to help rescue Rey from Iraq and bring her home for Zeek. Their unbreakable bond continues to grow as Rey thrives in her new forever home. Zeek shares with us, “Rey is doing great! She loves her ‘big’ sister Maggie, very much, and is incredibly fond of our daughter Celeste. We have been having so much fun welcoming her to our family and sharing new adventures. Thank you SO MUCH for the help. This has meant the world to me and my family.”

2018: A Year of Saving Lives (Don’t miss these photos!)

Incredible support from the SPCA International community has made 2018 our most successful year yet. Thanks to you, we were able to fund numerous rescues, transport many pets for military families, and fund life-saving veterinary care and sterilization campaigns throughout the world. We hope you know how much we value and appreciate YOUR support. As this year comes to an end, we would like to share this photo gallery highlighting some of the best moments of 2018. We hope you take a moment to enjoy the accomplishments that you made possible.
