U.S. Olympian Eleanor Logan Helps Animals in Rio

SPCA International is excited to introduce you to our very favorite Olympic gold medalist, Eleanor Logan! She is a champion in two ways – as a member of the Olympic women’s coxed 8 rowing team and as a champion for animal welfare. After winning her 3rd gold in Rio de Janeiro, Elle adopted two cats and visited the local public shelter to promote adoption. Check out the video and photos!

Victoria Update: Healing and Happy

We are excited to share these three new photos of Victoria. A few weeks ago we emailed to tell you about Victoria and 13 other dogs who were burned in an act of unthinkable evil. We received an incredible outpouring of support for Victoria and her 13 friends. See how she is recovering!

Mission Tails: Out of Africa
Work for our Operation Baghdad Pups: Worldwide team never stops. Over the last few weeks our team has been laboring tirelessly to rescue Jemma, Nelson and Prince. This rescue proved more challenging than most spanning 3 countries and bringing OBP: Worldwide to a new part of the world. Read more about this amazing rescue!
Operation Military Pets: Keeping Military Families Together
U.S. military families all over the world are receiving permanent change of station orders requiring them to uproot their families from one base to the next. Moving a pet to a new country is no easy task and is often a large financial burden that the military doesn't pay for. SPCA International developed Operation Military Pets (OMP) to help military families in need stay together. Learn more about OMP and the families we help.
Hey, Did You Know?
The maned wolf is not a fox or a wolf - even though it closely resembles them. Found in South America the maned wolf or as it is locally known, aguará guazú, is the tallest of the wild canids. Its ears alone are 7 inches tall! These solitary mammals are listed as near threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Please help our animal population - have your pets spayed or neutered!
