When SPCA International rescued Bucket from Iraq in 2015, we were just happy to reunite her with the soldier who had befriended her in Iraq. Now, years later, we are thrilled that Bucket continues to thrive with her family and has inspired a “Bucket’s Biscuits” a tasty and wholesome dog treat company that is giving 5% of proceeds to SPCA International!
SPCA International is fortunate to work with many incredible partners. One of them, the Liberia Animal Welfare and Conservation Society, has recently reached over 500 pets with a grant from SPCA International. Through their village to village veterinary care program they provided rabies and parvovirus vaccinations, deworming, tick and flea medications, wound dressing, mange treatment and more to animals in need.
