Their Work

The Street Dog Coalition was founded in 2015 with the mission to provide free medical care and related services to the pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. From the beginning, they have been committed to protecting the human-animal bond and caring for the lives on both ends of the leash. With an all-volunteer veterinary team in 50 cities across the country, The Street Dog Coalition provides pop-up clinics under bridges, in encampments, in parking lots, and wherever necessary.

SPCA International is honored to support The Street Dog Coalition as they provide much-needed veterinary care to the countless pets of refugees arriving at the Ukraine-Romania border as well as their incredible ongoing efforts to improve the lives of animals and people in need.
