Their Work

While Peace for Paws has a mission to save every dog in Eastern Europe, they are currently focusing their efforts in Georgia, where there are an estimated 40,000 stray dogs living in extremely impoverished conditions. Peace for Paws helps an average of 500 animals per year, and currently has 100 dogs in their care. To be able to aid even more animals in need, they are working towards building an animal sanctuary where the animals will have a safe environment to heal until they find permanent homes. Peace for Paws also plans to educate the community on the importance of spaying/neutering and the benefits of adopting a pet.

After hearing of Peace for Paws’ commitment to the stray animal population, SPCA International is proud to support their work and aid them in helping more animals in need.
