Their Work

Manali Strays was founded in 2019 to inspire harmony between stray animals and the humans who live with them, reducing human-animal conflict and creating a community that cares for its strays and ensures their continued health and wellbeing.

The programs run by Manali Strays require the support of the local community and government, which allows the team to humanely reduce the number of stray dogs in Manali and ensure all dogs are vaccinated against rabies. Manali Strays main operations involve rescuing and rehabilitating stray animals, running a mobile clinic for pet owners and stray animals with minor medical conditions, and sterilizing stray dogs and cats. They are also involved in community outreach and the education of school children, raising awareness about safe interactions with dogs and encouraging a more compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals.

SPCA International is proud to provide support to such a compassionate organization providing crucial relief and resources to the animals and pet owners in their community.
