Their Work

Furget-Me-Not Sanctuary has been providing compassionate care, sheltering, and spay/neuter programs for the soi dogs (Thai street dogs) in Thailand for over 15 years. When Founder Soot Liang Woo moved to Thailand, she was deeply moved by the incredible number of soi dogs. Unable to ignore this issue, Soot began to catch dogs individually, arranging and self-funding spaying and neutering operations for each one.

Over the last 4 years, Soot has volunteered her time daily to trap, neuter, and release (TNR), reaching over 93,000 dogs and cats in Thailand. Recently, Soot purchased a large piece of land in Kanchanaburi; a beautiful place where rescued dogs that are not unable to be rehomed can live in safe and sanitary conditions. At the Furget-Me-Not Sanctuary, they can enjoy wide open, green spaces where they are well-fed, cared for and loved.

SPCA International is proud to support Soot and the Furget-Me-Not Sanctuary as they continue their incredible efforts to protect and rescue the soi dogs of Thailand.
