Their Work
Fundación Gratitud (FUNDAGRAT) is a non-profit organization that addresses issues that negatively impact their communities, animal welfare, and the environment. FUNDAGRAT is the only organization in El Salvador that carries out free monthly sterilization days for stray dogs and cats. Their focus is on females because they are the most vulnerable. Their program also offers mobile spay days, where the veterinary team mobilizes to typically inaccessible areas of rural El Salvador.
SPCA International is deeply moved by Fundación Gratitud’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of stray animals within their community. We take immense pride in partnering with them as advocates for animal wellbeing through our Shelter Support program.
