Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill shelter in Pennsylvania offering several programs for protecting and placing abused or unwanted animals in the community. They match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, responsible care of all animals, and promote spaying and neutering to reduce companion animal overpopulation. Through their Golden Buddies program, they pair senior dogs with senior citizens, providing both companionship and joy. And through their Humane program, they investigate cruelty, abuse, and neglect cases. Orphans of the Storm helps an average of 3,000 animals a year and find loving homes for over 700 animals yearly.
