Their Work
China Rescue Dogs (CRD) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that advocates for animal rights worldwide. Their mission is to rescue and rehabilitate dogs from the meat trade in China and provide them with loving homes in the U.S. and Canada. They rescue dogs from imminent harm directly from breeding farms and butchers. They also take in abandoned dogs in need. They never say no to ANY dog – mixed breeds, banned breeds, disabled dogs and seniors. They try to rescue them all.
SPCA International is proud to have CRD as a partner in the fight against the brutal dog meat trade in China. We are honored to have recently worked together to bring 21 dog meat trade survivors to safety in the United States.
