Their Work

Asociatia pentru Protectia Animalelor Mariuta (Mariuta Animal Protection Association) was founded to provide shelter and care to help all the voiceless animals that need care, whether abandoned, homeless, abused or sick.

Their goal is to shape a better world, to make people aware of the importance of responsibility and respect for animals, and to give every animal they care for a chance for life in a warm home with a loving family. Mariuta’s mandate is to SAVE, LOVE and RESPECT all forms of life. Their priority is to save and care for any animal that comes through their shelter by providing critical veterinary attention and love. Over 300 puppies and many horses and donkeys currently reside in the “Mariuta” shelter.

SPCA International is proud to support the Mariuta Animal Protection Association as they continue their mission to save, love and respect all living beings, and fight for a better life for the animals in their communities.
