Type of Organization
Animal Rescue Cambodia is a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to end suffering for dogs and cats on the streets of Cambodia. One of their main goals is to tackle animal overpopulation, which they do through sterilization clinics for stray and owned animals. Because they know that education is crucial in creating lasting change, they also have a community outreach program that enables them to speak at schools and local events to promote responsible pet ownership and better treatment of animals. To improve the quality of veterinary care in the region, Animal Rescue Cambodia works with the local university and trains local veterinary staff. They also do a lot of advocacy work to support the implementation of animal welfare legislation.
SPCA International is thrilled to support Animal Rescue Cambodia, enabling them to expand its sterilization program and provide animals in need the care they deserve.
