Their Work

A Dog’s New Life was established in 2019 with a goal to provide a solution to the high numbers of lost and abandoned dogs on the streets of Mexico. They accomplish their goals by providing food, shelter and veterinary care to animals in need, especially abused animals. They also promote spay and neuter as a humane solution to the overpopulation of neglected and unwanted animals.

A Dog’s New Life currently maintains an animal shelter that is one of a kind in the Banderas Bay area, with a capacity for about 75 animals. They also operate the Street Dog Initiative program, where they work with the community to help dogs in need, whether they are roaming, lost, or homeless. The team works with owners or roaming or lost dogs to help provide veterinary assistance and educate them on proper animal welfare. With time and resources, they hope to continue to grow their positive impact on their community, for people and animals.

SPCA International is proud to support A Dog’s New Life as they continue to grow and strengthen their mission.
