Part of SPCA International’s founding vision was to support and partner with smaller animal groups domestically and worldwide to increase impact. Since 2007, SPCA International has assisted over 350 animal shelters and rescue groups in every U.S. state and many countries around the world.
Today, we continue that vision by supporting both new and ongoing partners with general assistance grants, emergency grants, project-specific grants and veterinary supply aid donations. We regularly travel the world to build partnerships, roll up our sleeves and support these organizations in ever increasing ways.
In 2014, we even joined a coalition of animal groups at the Spanish Congress in Madrid to speak out against greyhound abuse. In 2017 and 2018, SPCAI partnered with multiple organizations to provide veterinary care and sterilization to over 900 animals trapped inside the Nuclear Exclusion Zone at the site of the 1986 Chernobyl, Ukraine, nuclear reactor accident.
