Recently, I have been reflecting about Tahlequah, the Orca Whale who carried her daughter’s body for 17 days and over 1,000 miles in the Pacific. I can’t seem to get the images and story out of my head.
In the exclusion zone there are almost 1,000 stray dogs, 250 of them in the nuclear power plant itself. Volunteers are recovering them and promoting adoption campaigns
These cute pups were saved from cruel and short lives in the Chernobyl Nuclear Exclusion Zone thanks to many dedicated volunteers, donors, and adoptive families.
