Voluntary Education and Relief Initiative for Tanzanian Society (VERITAS) is a non-profit established in 2012. VERITAS is a volunteer-led organization focused on agriculture, animal protection, the vegan movement, and health. Their main projects include providing food and veterinary care for animals in struggling rescue centers, street feeding patrols to provide meals for homeless dogs and cats in Kasulu Town, care for rescued farm animals, legal initiatives to fight cruelty and neglect, spay/neuter campaigns for homeless and rescued animals, and education.
