Their Work

Founded in over 12 years ago, SPCA Puerto Vallarta has been working tirelessly to provide a brighter future for the abandoned dogs and cats of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

SPCA Puerto Vallarta is a shelter-based group focused on the rescue, medical care, rehabilitation and ultimate adoption of companion animals. In 2019 alone the team at SPCA Puerto Vallarta rescued and adopted out 250 animals and sterilized over 500 in their spay and neuter clinics. Functioning as a no-kill shelter SPCA Puerto Vallarta provides sanctuary to animals who are unadoptable because of their disabilities.

SPCA International is proud to support SPCA Puerto Vallarta as they carry on the mission and values established by their founder, Janice Chatterton.
