Their Work

Located in Walu Bay, SPCA Fiji is a shelter-based organization working to provide a safe haven for unwanted and needy animals with the hope to rehome them.

SPCA Fiji helps roughly 1,500 stray animals every year through their program outreach. In addition to the homeless animals, they help every year SPCA Fiji provides veterinary care to over 5,000 owned pets. One of SPCA Fiji’s premier programs is their Communities, Legislation and Animal Welfare program or CLAW. The CLAW program aims to reduce the strain on the SPCA shelter by being proactive, going out into the communities to work with dogs & cats and community members in the field through sterilization, vaccinations, parasite management, community health management and humane education.

SPCA International is proud to support SPCA Fiji through our Shelter Support Fund and Veterinary Supply Aid programs so they can continue make an impact on the lives of the animals of Fiji.
