Their Work

Found in 2019, Bluebush Wildlife Sanctuary’s mission is to protect and rehabilitate sick, injured, orphaned and displaced native wildlife of Western Australia.

This all-volunteer based organization is the only care facility in an area spanning 9 million acres. Bluebush Wildlife Sanctuary provides rescue, rehabilitation and release to kanagroos, wallabies, native bird species, small raptors, lizards, echidnas and small marsupials. Bluebush Wildlife Sanctuary also believes that the local community and native wildlife can coexist and thrive together. Through educational programs, carefully maintained release sites, community awareness and the promotion of conservation, Bluebush Wildlife Sanctuary is building a brighter future for Western Australia.

SPCA International is proud to support Bluebush Wildlife Sanctuary as they continue to rescue and rehabilitate animals effected by the devasting bushfires of 2019/2020.
