Their Work

Rosie Animal Adoption has been dedicated to finding responsible and loving homes for misplaced, neglected and unwanted dogs in Montreal, Quebec since 2001.

Rosie, the mascot of Rosie Animal Adoption, was rescued from an uncertain future at the age of two months, due to being homeless and having a pierced eye. She represents the organization’s philosophy to protect and ensure the survival of adoptable dogs. Rosie Animal Adoption provides ongoing information and support to interested people and pet lovers to ensure the humane and effective recovery of any pet in need. Rosie Animal Adoption also strives to educate the public and pet lovers on responsible pet guardianship. They hope to eventually eliminate the need for any and all adoption programs as the public becomes more educated.

SPCA International is proud to support Rosie Animal Adoption in their ongoing efforts to make their community a safe, humane and loving place for stray dogs.
