Their Work

Founded 5 years ago, RANA – Rescue Animals of North Africa was established to prevent the suffering of animals across Libya and Tunisia.

Run by a small but dedicated group of volunteers, RANA helps over 100 animals every year. Volunteers on the ground in Libya and Tunisia work around the clock to ensure that all animals brought into their care receive medical attention, nourishment and lots of TLC. Through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, medical care and humane education RANA is drastically reducing the suffering of the abandoned and abused animals of Northern Africa.

SPCA International is proud to provide support to this grass-roots organization as they work tirelessly to change the attitude towards strays while improving their lives.
