Their Work

Founded in 2012 in the city of Kiev the Kiev Society for the Protection of Animals “Lucky Strand” has been bringing essential medical care and compassion to the stray animals of Kiev.

KSPA “Lucky Strand” helps roughly 300 dogs and cats every year by providing spay and neuter services, medical care, socialization, and adoption. Additionally KSPA “Lucky Strand” promotes educational programs on the ethical treatment of animals and organizes government demonstrations against animal cruelty. All of which is accomplished with only 15 volunteers.

SPCA International is proud to support KSPA “Lucky Strand” in the building of their new shelter so they are able to continue their already amazing work.
