Their Work

The Jerusalem Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA) has been the only large shelter providing a safe home for strays since the 1940s. They house approximately 350 dogs and cats at any given time, and our Jerusalem clinic treats countless abandoned animals every week. Their ultimate goal is to find loving homes for every animal in need.

While in their care, Jerusalem SPCA ensures these needy animals have a warm bed and loving caretakers and will never be hungry or hurt. They offer subsidized spay and neuter clinics to combat animal over-population. They also provide veterinary care for sick and injured pets of low-income community members.

SPCA International is impressed by the incredible work Jerusalem SPCA has been doing for nearly a century. We are proud to support their work and are excited to work together to improve the lives of stray and shelter animals in Israel.
