Their Work
Greater Victoria Animals Crusaders (GVAC) was founded in 1973 and since then has been a leader in animal rescue in the Greater Victoria area. GVAC is run by a loyal and dedicated team of volunteers. Their primary focus is helping companion animals find loving and supportive homes, spaying and neutering, funding for low-income owners, and rehoming surrendered animals. On average they help over 200 animals every year, including cats, dogs, reptiles, and birds.
GVAC was one of the incredible organizations we partnered with to help rehome the cats and dogs rescued from Afghanistan through Mission Possible. SPCA International is proud to have them as a partner.
