Their Work
Our Best Friends, and founder George Orfanidis, are dedicated to saving and improving animal lives in Greece.
Although they only became a registered charity in 2019, George Orfanidis has been rescuing animals in Crete for over 20 years. Our Best Friends helps stray animals who are sick, injured and neglected and currently care for 100 dogs in their shelter.
SPCA International is proud to support George Orfanidis and his team at Our Best Friends as they work to build a better shelter and provide better welfare for their animals.
