Part of SPCA International's founding vision was to support and partner with smaller animal groups domestically and worldwide to increase impact. Since 2007, SPCA International has assisted over 225 animal shelters and rescue groups in every U.S. state and many countries around the world. Today, we continue that vision by supporting both new and old partners with general assistance grants, emergency grants, project specific grants, and veterinary supply aid donations. We regularly travel the world to build partnerships, roll up our sleeves and support these organizations in ever increasing ways. In 2014, we even joined a coalition of animal groups at the Spanish Congress in Madrid to speak out against greyhound abuse and in 2012 we ran shelter improvement projects in Thailand to improve life for hundreds of dogs and cats suffering in some of the most deplorable shelter conditions we have ever seen.
We are always eager to hear about groups doing incredible work in the U.S. and worldwide. Please contact us if you think we should know about a specific issue or amazing work being done in your community. Nominations: We are not currently accepting nominations for Shelter Support Fund grant recipients. We are revising our program goals and the grant process. Please come back in 2016 to see these updates and apply for grant funds.
