KABUL SMALL ANIMAL RESCUE’S STORY

The last days have been a whirlwind in Afghanistan. As the Taliban closed in on Kabul, we began receiving horrifying pictures. Pictures of dogs with their noses cut off by fighters.

When the Taliban came to Kabul Small Animal Rescue, the staff were terrified. They thought every dog and cat would be slaughtered as they watched helplessly.

Charlotte, the American founder of the organization, knew she had to make a stand. This courageous woman stood strong and convinced the Taliban to give her permission to evacuate the animals.

Now, over 200 dogs and cats have been moved to the airport. The only place still under American control in Kabul. As the situation becomes more critical by the minute the shelter staff are doing everything they can to ensure the safety of the animals until their hopeful departure.

Your generous donation will ensure this group can safely evacuate their animals and staff. But it will also provide food, shelter and rehoming for the animals once they make it out of Afghanistan.

There is no time to lose.
