Abandoned and Tortured Dogs Need Help Now

Roma was left to die on the street because she was no longer useful as a hunting dog.

Thousands of others like her face the same terrible fate each year in Spain.

Every year thousands of Spanish hunting dogs called galgos are abandoned, tortured and murdered when they are no longer able to hunt. Roma was injured and no longer useful, so she was cruelly left to suffer and die alone.

SPCA International’s partner organization in Spain has been faithfully rescuing these beautiful animals for years. Sheltering them with foster families and boarding facilities. But now, they have an incredible opportunity to build a shelter of their own.

They have the land, just outside of Barcelona, but they need our help to make the shelter a reality. Donations toward this effort will help rescue and care for more Galgos.

There is no time to lose.
