Their Work

SNIP Foundation has been providing financial aid for mass, low-cost spay & neuter clinics as well as educational programs in developing nations for over 5 years. They are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization registered in Salt Lake City, Utah with its main office of operations in San José, Costa Rica.

SNIP was founded to help make a substantial difference in the way companion animals are perceived and treated in the developing world. Their programs include financial aid for spay & neuter services and education. The SNIP Foundation favors an approach that puts spay & neuter at the foundation of our animal advocacy programs, turning high kill communities into No Kill ones. They believe that the whole family should be involved and learn how to properly care for their own pet in a way that also positively impacts the community. The SNIP Foundation also believe that community welfare begins with animal welfare and that empowering local people is the only sustainable solution to the tragedy of homeless companion animals, one community and one low-cost clinic at a time.

SPCA International is proud to support the SNIP Foundation as they continue to offer sustainable, humane solutions to the pet overpopulation problem so that no animal is left behind.
