Their Work

Founded in 2017, Rescue Outreach is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization whose mission is to help reduce the euthanasia rate of dogs and cats by rescuing them from high-kill shelters. Rescue Outreach takes these at-risk animals and places them into loving foster homes, allowing them to rehabilitate from injury, illness, and other factors before finding their forever families. On average, Rescue Outreach helps 400 animals per year find loving families, also creating space in busy shelters so that more animals have a chance of being adopted.

Recently, SPCA International partnered with Rescue Outreach to provide emergency-response aid to the animal shelters impacted by the floods in Kentucky. We are proud of the work Rescue Outreach is doing to aid those most in need and know that with our support, they will be able to help more homeless animals find the homes they deserve.
