Ping An A Fu Rescue Center was founded in 2002 in Nanjing, China. Witnessing the harsh life of stray animals in her area, the founder Ha Wenjin decided to devote her life to animal welfare. She purchased a 2-acre property in Xindian in the Nanjing countryside, which became the base shelter of the rescue center and home to thousands of rescue animals.

The Ping An A Fu Rescue Center strives to protect and rescue dogs and cats from the meat trade, promote spay and neuter for domestic animals, and educate the public about the importance of animal welfare. They operate animal shelters in three separate locations, where they currently provide care for over 4,000 dogs and 300 cats in total.

SPCA International is proud to provide support to this organization as they continue their mighty efforts to protect and care for the homeless and injured animals in their region.
