Their Work

As the first-ever domestic animal welfare organization in Malawi, Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA) has advocated for the well-being of domestic, working, and farm animals in the region for well over a decade. LSPCA’s work focuses on conducting animal rescues and rehoming, sterilizing and vaccinating stray and owned animals, and working with the government to draft new animal welfare laws and associated regulations and guidelines to prevent animal suffering. LSPCA also delivers veterinary care, animal welfare education, and training programs through its veterinary hospital and center.

SPCA International is proud to support Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA), enabling them to provide more animals in need the care they deserve.
