Their Work

Founded in 1960, Leon County Humane Society (LCHS) has been dedicated to humane education and giving abandoned animals the best opportunities to find a forever home.

LCHS rescues over 600 animals and helps pet owners in the form of spay/neuter vouchers and a pet food pantry. The LCHS staff and their 200+ volunteers work tirelessly to provide socialization and companionship to the many animals in their care as well as bringing humane education to their community.

SPCA International is proud to support Leon County Humane Society as they continue to rebuild and provide relief for those impacted by Hurricane Michael.
