Their Work

Compassion for Animals Welfare Association (CAWA) is an animal rights and welfare organization which aims to save lives by changing the landscape of human-animal interaction and making it conflict-free. Every year, they help to rescue and rehabilitate hundreds of animals. Through advocacy, CAWA speaks up for animal rights to live without abuse, exploitation or extermination. Through their education initiatives, they foster a positive relationship between animals and people, creating a healthy, peaceful ecosystem where both flourish. To humanely reduce animal overpopulation, CAWA hosts spay and neuter clinics. They also provide community animals with life-saving vaccinations.

SPCA International is proud of the Compassion for Animals Welfare Association’s work in India. We are proud to support their work and to have them as a Shelter Support partner.
