KEEVA’S STORY

Staff Sergeant Renee came across a tiny pup being kicked, slapped and spit on. She was horrified and immediately came to the pup’s rescue. That pup, now named Keeva, burrowed her way into the Staff Sergeant’s heart and the two have been inseparable ever since. Staff Sergeant Renee can’t imagine leaving Keeva behind in the Middle East. She knows Keeva will be at risk for even more abuse, and it breaks her heart to even think about it.

The Staff Sergeant would bring Keeva on a plane to the U.S. if she could, but her hands are tied. The military prohibits soldiers from bringing adopted pets on official transportation. Now, Staff Sergeant Renee is counting on us to get Keeva to the U.S. where they can be reunited and live in happiness.
