Founded over 20 years ago in Buenos Aires, Argentina, El Paraiso de los Animales has provided shelter, food, veterinary care and spay/neuter services to the abused and abandoned animals of Argentina.
El Paraiso de los Animales is the largest sanctuary in Argentina, providing shelter for over 700 animals including many farm animals and 400 dogs. Unlike most shelters the animals are allowed to roam freely on the property without the restriction of cages. With only 6 volunteers the work that they have been able to accomplish is staggering, no animal is turned away, but it costs thousands of dollars to feed and care for all the animals and keep the sanctuary in proper shape.
SPCA International is proud to support El Paraiso de los Animales through our Shelter Support Fund program to help them continue to care for the each and every deserving soul that is lucky to get this new chance at life.
