SPCA International has a lot to be thankful to FedEx for. It was in June 2008, that FedEx came to the aid of Operation Baghdad Pups when we needed to get 26 dogs and 2 cats from Iraq to the U.S. It was an incredible team effort that resulted in rescuing the animals.
On March 29, Terri Crisp, Program Manager for Operation Baghdad Pups was invited to be a guest speaker at FedEx’s world headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. It was a great honor and opportunity to share with FedEx employees all the Operation Baghdad Pups successes that followed that June 2008 mission that FedEx called Operation Patriots Pets. At the same time, it gave SPCA International another chance to thank FedEx for rising to the occasion and making it possible for more wartime buddies to be reunited on American soil.
SPCA International is honored to be a friend to the FedEx Corporation and thankful for all they have done for the animals in our care.
