The SPCA International FLEX mini-vac sweepstakes was a big success last month. Meet the five lucky winners and their feline and canine companions. Each winner is excited to try the FLEX mini-vac with its innovative pet hair cleaning tool.
 | WINNER #1 Barbara Freda from New London, Pennsylvania Barbara and her husband have five dogs and one cat! On the top of this photo you can meet Cassie (in red) and Lilly. In the bottom row from left to right are Reggie, Pudge and Gunny. Their camera shy feline friend is named Marbles. When Barbara learned she had won she quickly exclaimed, “With 5 dogs and a cat there is always hair around. We sure can use the help of the Black & Decker FLEX!” |
 | WINNER #2 Susan Rogers from Bartlesville, Oklahoma Three months ago Susan adopted Cully from a Cocker Spaniel rescue group in Oklahoma. Just 10 months old, Cully is a sweet and well-mannered puppy. Terribly, a sadness many of us know too well struck the Rogers household last week when they lost their 14 year old mixed breed dog, Bubba. Susan says Cully is doing her best to help them get through their grief with snuggles and kisses. She doesn’t know what she would do without her during this difficult time. |
 | WINNER #3 David Melton from Richmond, Alabama David has two six year old Lhasa Apsos, Nickie and Willie. Nickie’s coat is gold and white and Willie’s is black and white. Nickie loves to watch television on a foot stool in their living room and bark at the dogs she sees, while Willie prefers attention and belly rubs from Mom and Dad. |
 | WINNER #4 Leo Craig from Doylestown, Pennsylvania A West Highland White Terrier named Toby is the king of the house in this family. Leo and his wife Marie adopted Toby from the Bucks County SPCA. This picture was taken on Toby’s adoption day. Although it’s often said that terriers don’t shed, Leo points out, “It’s a misnomer that they don’t shed at all, and we’ll find the FLEX very helpful in picking up his hair.” |
